Description
As my inaugural project using Unreal Engine 5, I gained valuable insight into both the engine and simulation-style games. Initially, I faced challenges adapting to the Blueprint workflow; however, over time I embraced increasingly complex tasks—such as implementing building mechanics and a persistent saving system, completing each with determination and competence.
A Special Collaboration:
This project was part of an extension program in collaboration with Instituto C, an organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable families. As part of the initiative, we visited the institute and invited the children to create drawings that would be transformed into in-game props for Neon Flip. These drawings were incorporated as picture frames within the game, making the children's contributions a central element of the arcade world.
